Hello, Griptape community! Following the preview launch of Griptape Nodes last month, we're back with more news to supercharge your creative AI workflows. Today, we're delighted to announce the Griptape Nodes Directory.
The Griptape Nodes Directory: Discover, Share, and Collaborate
One of the core philosophies that we had in mind when we created Griptape Nodes was community-driven development , together with the power of shared innovation. We've already seen incredible creativity from early Griptape Nodes users in creating intricate workflows to achieve their unique artistic and professional goals, and in getting started building custom nodes. To foster this spirit of collaboration and make it easier for everyone to discover and leverage these innovations, we've created the Griptape Nodes Directory.
The Griptape Nodes Directory serves as a centralized repository where users can:
- Discover new nodes: Access a collection of nodes contributed by the Griptape team members, the community and partners, offering additional functionality for text, image, and data processing.
- Share custom nodes: Publish your own custom nodes and node libraries for integration into other users' workflows.
- Access learning resources: Observe how other users are extending Griptape Nodes and explore new approaches to creative challenges.
- Contribute to the ecosystem: Participate in the development of a comprehensive library of generative AI tools.
The Griptape Nodes Directory is designed to simplify the discovery and utilization of new building blocks for your creative AI applications. Its purpose is to support community-driven development and the sharing of innovations within the Griptape Nodes ecosystem.
To get your started, we’ve added a few nodes that members of the team here at Griptape have been working on, but this is a place for everyone in the community to share their creations, so to access the Griptape Nodes Directory, and to discover and contribute nodes:
- Visit the Griptape Nodes Directory repo on GitHub.
- Get started developing your own custom nodes with the getting started guide in our documentation.
- Share your own custom nodes for Griptape Nodes by opening a pull request including your changes to the README.md in the Griptape Nodes Directory repo on GitHub
- If you have ideas for custom nodes, and you’re looking for collaborators or help in getting them implemented, please feel free to open issues in this repository and the team here at Griptape will take a look at them. We hope other members of the Griptape Community will find inspiration here too.
Don’t forget to join the Griptape Discord community for further support, to share your workflows, and hang out with a community of like minded creators.
Stay tuned for a few follow up posts over the coming days where we will spotlight some of the custom nodes that have already been contributed by the Griptape Team!
