A Peek Inside: What Can You Do with Griptape Nodes?
During our preview launch webinar, team members and artists showcased some of the amazing things you can do with Griptape Nodes. Here are a few highlights:
Artistic Workflows
Amaru Zeas, an artist with a background in games and film, demonstrated how Griptape Nodes has transformed his creative process. By chaining together nodes for image generation, upscaling, and custom-trained models (like LoRA), Amaru is able to create cinematic, high-resolution artwork with fine-grained control, something that’s hard to achieve with prompt-only tools.
What’s especially exciting is that even non-developers can build and customize nodes. Amaru shared how he used an AI agent to help write a custom node for color grading, despite not being a Python expert. This kind of empowerment is at the heart of Griptape Nodes.
Building and Running Workflows
Jason Schleifer walked through the basics of creating and running workflows in the Griptape Nodes editor. The interface is intuitive: you drag and drop nodes, connect them, and configure their properties. You can run individual nodes or entire workflows, and see results in real time.
